Cookie Policy
This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any inconsistency or divergence of interpretation, the Portuguese version shall prevail.
This website uses two types of cookies. Necessary cookies keep the site working and do not require a choice. Analytics cookies depend on your consent and are only loaded after you accept them.
Necessary cookies
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ts_cookie_consent |
Stores your choice regarding the usage analytics cookie, so that the banner is not shown again on every page. | 180 days |
Analytics cookies (subject to your consent)
With your consent, we use audience measurement tools to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used. They are not loaded before you decide: while no choice has been made, none of these cookies is stored and no script from these providers is requested.
The list below was verified on the torressoares.com domain itself, with the tools active, and records the cookies actually stored, with name, domain, duration and provider.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Domain and type | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes visitors in a pseudonymised way. | 400 days | torressoares.com — first party | |
_ga_* | Maintains the measurement session state. | 400 days | torressoares.com — first party | |
_clck | Links a visitor's actions within Clarity. | 1 year | torressoares.com — first party | Microsoft |
_clsk | Groups page views from the same session. | 1 day | torressoares.com — first party | Microsoft |
CLID | Identifies the visitor on the Clarity domain, when stored. | 1 year | Microsoft domains — third party | Microsoft |
Who the providers are
Google LLC — Google Analytics 4, audience measurement; and Google Tag Manager, a tool for managing and firing measurement tags, loaded only after consent for analytics cookies. Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy and use of data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Microsoft Corporation — Microsoft Clarity, heatmaps and masked, pseudonymised replay of navigation. Privacy Statement at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement and information about the tool at learn.microsoft.com/clarity.
First-party cookies are stored under the torressoares.com domain, even
though the party using them is Google or Microsoft: this is the case for _ga,
_ga_*, _clck and _clsk. Third-party cookies
are stored under the provider's own domain — in our case only CLID, on the Clarity
domain, and only when your browser accepts third-party cookies. The Domain and type column
indicates which is the case for each; the Provider column indicates who processes the data.
The website does not authorise storage or personalisation for advertising purposes. Third-party cookies may vary depending on the browser, privacy settings and the provider's technical operation.
How to withdraw consent and what happens next
Use the button, also available in the footer of every page, and change your choice. When you withdraw consent, in this order:
- your choice is updated immediately and applies from that moment onwards;
- the website stops recording new measurement events at once;
- Microsoft Clarity is informed of the withdrawal through the tool's official interface;
- the analytics cookies stored under the torressoares.com domain are deleted;
- the page is reloaded, where a measurement tool had already been loaded during that visit. The reload is what actually stops the running scripts: without it they would remain active on the page already open. If you decline on your very first visit, nothing was loaded and there is no reload.
Cookies already stored in your browser are not automatically deleted by the providers. When you
withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies stored under the torressoares.com domain —
among them _ga, cookies whose name begins with _ga_, _clck
and _clsk. Cookies stored under Google or Microsoft domains cannot be deleted by
us — you may remove them through your browser's privacy settings. Withdrawing consent
does not prevent or limit your use of the website.
Record of your choice
We store, in your own browser, only: the choice made for each category, the date and time of that choice, and the version of the cookie notice in force at that moment. We do not record IP address, browser identifier or any data that would allow you to be identified.
This record allows us to apply and remember your choice in that browser and to identify which version of the notice was presented at the time. It remains under your control and may be deleted by you at any time through your browser settings. The firm separately keeps a history of the published versions of the cookie notice and of this Policy, with their respective effective dates, without recording any personal data of visitors.
Internal traffic exclusion
Members of the firm may exclude their own visits from measurement. The exclusion is stored only in the browser's local storage, is not a cookie and does not identify anyone.
How to change your choice
Use the “Cookie preferences” button above, also available in the footer of every page, to reopen the panel and change your choice whenever you wish.
Version and effective date
Version 1.1 — effective date: 1 September 2026. This version describes the audience measurement tools actually used on the website — Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity — and replaces Version 1.0. The cookie table above was verified on the torressoares.com domain before this publication.
The firm keeps a history of the published versions of this Policy, with their respective effective dates.
